Professor, Environmental Engineering
Dr. Ndon teaches graduate and undergraduate courses and conducts research in environmental engineering. His focus is on environmental biotechnology, especially biological treatment of wastes and wastewaters, including industrial and municipal wastewaters, biological nutrient removal from wastewaters, process kinetics and bioreactor design, biotransformation of hazardous compounds, fate and transport of subsurface contaminants, bio-chemical kinetics and bioreactor design, and bioremediation. Dr. Ndon's practical experience includes one and a half years in a consulting firm on evaluation and design of industrial and municipal waste treatment facilities including research and troubleshooting services. Prior to joining San Jose State University, Dr. Ndon's teaching experience included various teaching positions at Western Illinois University, Iowa State University, and the University of Central Florida.
